Family was the most important thing to her. She was extremely proud of her daughters, her grandchildren and her sons in law. No matter where she was, she made sure to fly home and be present at every birth, Baptism, first Holy Communion, graduation and any special event. To the very end her face would light up when she heard about her grandchildren’s accomplishments. Her own father died when she was barely a few months old and she missed growing up with a father. She spoke often of his absence and the hope of one day meeting him in heaven. I hope she did.
