DON DIXON'S SPACE ART, SCIENCE FICTION ART, AND SCIENTIFIC ILLUSTRATION

Prints of Don Dixon's Art

Custom-made, Signed Giclee Prints of many  images on this site may be purchased through Scifi-Arizona, which has hosted a gallery of Don Dixon artwork since 1996. At SciFi-Arizona, you can read essays on the craft of writing, and purchase bound or e-book versions of the novels of Michael McCollum and other writers.

The rich and vibrant ink on archival paper has an estimated lifespan of at least 20 years. Prints are custom made, color-corrected and signed by the artist. The prints come in two sizes, 18x24 inches ($155), and 24x36 inches ($285). These are approximate framing sizes; images are printed with a white border to accommodate the signature and title. Here's how to order:

Step Onechoose your picture. The easiest way to do this is to browse the Image Library. If you see something you would like as a print, note the title and serial number. (Please do not order any images with a serial number below 100 without first consulting us by email;some early pictures are "lost" in that we lack quality transparencies and so cannot make good prints of them.)

Step Twoplace your order. Click here to Order Prints. This takes you to the order form at SciFi-Arizona. In the "remarks" box, type the desired title and serial number and then fill out the rest of the form. The ordering process is simple and you can start over at any time. You will receive two confirmation emails, one from a "bot" at sci-fi-Arizona and one from Cosmographica, advising you of estimated delivery time. Please check the address information carefully and let us know if there is any error.

Signed Giclee prints generally require about 7-10 days to produce and ship.

Unsigned Prints and Cards in various sizes may be purchased through Fine Art America. This is a convenient and affordable way to obtain a print tailored to your needs. Prices start as low as $6 for cards, and images can be printed on canvas or archival paper. New images are continually added to the gallery, so please check back often. Should you wish to frame your print, Fine Art America has a sophisticated – and quite fun! – frame and matte customizing module.
